Allie Camisa

This will be my 3rd year teaching at Eagle Ridge, but I am not new to the school as I attended Eagle Ridge for elementary school from 2004-2010. I am very happy to be back at the school where it all started and now moving up to teaching 3rd grade after two years in 1st grade.

I will be going into my 5th year of teaching. Before that I went to school at the University of Kansas…Rock Chalk Jayhawk! Then I had to come back home to Colorado because it’s the best place to be. When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, traveling, and watching sports, especially the Avs!! I also like to spend a lot of my time with friends and family while eating some good food or shopping for some fun clothes when I get the chance!

I look forward to an amazing year with the kids getting to know them, and help their minds grow throughout the year! We will have tons of fun with our learning!

Elizabeth Grimmett

This is my first year at Eagle Ridge, but my 3rd year teaching elementary. I’ve been teaching for 10 years in various settings before graduating with myM.Ed. from The University of Denver in 2021. I’m currently continuing my
education through Harvard Graduate School of Education!

I’m a passionate educator and learner, and have a wide array of interests! I’m very creative, bubbly, and full of love for my students and their families. On weekends I’m usually thrifting, road tripping, volunteering or doing something
crafty.

I’m 35 years old, and live with my fur pup Monet and partner. We love to travel and take road trips. I grew up in a small farm town in Central Florida, but I’ve also lived in Greece, and have moved 41 times. Next summer I’m planning on volunteering in Spain, and am very excited to connect with my Hispanic culture!

I cannot wait to get to know all the wonderful families and students I’m lucky enough to have in my class this year, I’m certain it will be a great one!

Antoinette Harris

Hello! My name is Antoinette Harris, and I am thrilled to begin my journey at Eagle Ridge Elementary this year! This marks my 6th year in education, and I couldn't be more excited to bring my passion for teaching to this wonderful school community.

I received my undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University, and my Master of Education at Grand Canyon University! I eventually made my way to Austin, TX, where I met my husband. After getting married in October, we relocated to Colorado in November. Over the past few years, I have had the pleasure of teaching Kindergarten for 4 years, 2nd grade for a year, and 7th grade reading intervention for another year. Each of these experiences has shaped my teaching philosophy and deepened my love for education.

Teaching 3rd grade has always been a dream of mine, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to fulfill it at Eagle Ridge Elementary. I firmly believe that every child deserves individualized, quality education that celebrates their unique strengths and differences. My goal is to create a warm, accepting, and challenging classroom environment that empowers students to become future global leaders.

I am eagerly looking forward to the year ahead and am excited to work with the amazing students and families at ERE. Here’s to a fantastic year of growth and learning!

Kaitlin Shock

A Colorado native and University of Michigan graduate, Kaitlin Shock is in her eighth year of teaching at  Eagle Ridge. Before making the move to Eagle Ridge- Kaitlin taught at Coyote Creek Elementary, in Highlands Ranch, for 13 years. During this time she taught second grade for one year, third grade for 4 years, 5th grade for 4 years, and first grade for 4 years.  Kaitlin believes that “school should be fun and students should learn without realizing that is what they are doing!”  In her classroom you will find students choosing different learning opportunities which are aligned to state and district outcomes all the while creating student engagement and learning that is fun!  In her spare time, Kaitlin enjoys spending time with her family and friends!
