Meet the Second Grade Team
Margaret Feltham, Antoinette Harris, Daely Kitchens, and Stephanie Kopet
Stephanie Kopet is in her sixth year of teaching at Eagle Ridge. She has lived in Colorado almost all of her life. She went to Arapahoe High School in Littleton, and received her undergraduate and masters degrees from the University of Colorado. (Go Buffs!!) She lives with her husband and two boys, Connor (17) and Brock (15). Connor is a Senior and Brock is a Sophomore at Highlands Ranch High School.
She is thrilled to be working with second graders again this year. With a strong passion for inspiring young minds, she is dedicated to challenging her students to grow both academically and personally. Her goal is to foster a classroom environment where a love for learning flourishes—encouraging students to embrace change, explore new ideas, and approach discovery with enthusiasm.
Margaret FelthamMargaret Feltham grew up in Montclair, New Jersey. She moved to Colorado in 2016 after graduating from Skidmore College in upstate New York, where she majored in elementary education and psychology. Margaret taught fifth grade for four years in Lakewood before joining Eagle Ridge Elementary School in 2020. At ERE she taught 3rd grade for three years and 4th grade for two years and is now in here 2nd year teaching 2nd grade! (Golden!)
Her favorite part of teaching is, “building relationships with students and watching them become confident in their learning.” Margaret enjoys paddle boarding, seeing live music, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Hello! My name is Antoinette Harris, and I am thrilled to begin my third year at Eagle Ridge Elementary this year! This marks my 8th year in education, and I am excited to start a new adventure in 2nd grade this year.
I received my undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University, and my Master of Education at Grand Canyon University! I eventually made my way to Austin, TX, where I met my husband. After getting married in October, 2023 we relocated to Colorado in November. Over the past few years, I have had the pleasure of teaching Kindergarten for 4 years, 2nd grade for a year, 7th grade reading intervention for a year and most recently, 3rd grade for 2 years here at ERE. Each of these experiences has shaped my teaching philosophy and deepened my love for education.
Teaching 2nd grade will be an amazing new adventure for me! I firmly believe that every child deserves individualized, quality education that celebrates their unique strengths and differences. My goal is to create a warm, accepting, and challenging classroom environment that empowers students to become future global leaders.
I am eagerly looking forward to the year ahead and am excited to continue working with the amazing students and families at ERE. Here’s to a fantastic year of growth and learning!

My name is Daely Kitchens, and I am so excited to be joining Eagle Ridge Elementary as a second-grade teacher! This is my first year at Eagle Ridge, and I can’t wait to learn, laugh ,and grow alongside my students.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Mississippi (Hotty Toddy!)
When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me exploring Colorado with my husband, spending time with our two dogs, Charlie and Quill, curled up with a good book, or trying a new coffee shop. I’m looking forward to an amazing school year!
