Stephanie Kopet

Stephanie Kopet is in her fourth year of teaching at Eagle Ridge.  She has lived in Colorado almost all of her life. She went to Arapahoe High School in Littleton, and received her undergraduate and masters degrees from the University of Colorado. (Go Buffs!!)  She lives with her husband and two boys, Connor (15) and Brock (13). Connor is a Sophomore at Highlands Ranch High School, and Brock is an eighth grader at Cresthill Middle School.

She is so excited to work with 2nd graders this year. She loves challenging students to grow and shine, and her goal is that everyone in the class continues to develop a great love for learning so that they can be more open and enthusiastic about change and discovery!

Kimberley Worthen

Kimberley is starting her first year at Eagle Ridge Elementary and her second year teaching. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and a master’s degree in Elementary Education from Metropolitan State University Denver.

Outside of the classroom, she is a wife and mother to two amazing boys, Jason and Aidan. Jason is currently attending the University of Alabama and her son Aidan is going to be attending Bryant & Stratton - Virginia Beach on a baseball scholarship. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, and spending time with my family.

Mrs. Worthen is excited to be teaching second grade. She is passionate  about creating a supportive  and engaging classroom environment. She believes that every child can shine and is dedicated to helping each student discover their unique strengths.

Lisa Kwiatkowski

Lisa Kwiatkowski has been on her teaching  journey for 25 years, teaching grades 1-6. She began in southern California, and is thrilled to be entering her 18th year at Eagle Ridge. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a graduate degree in Elementary Education, both from California State University of Long Beach.

Outside the classroom, she is a mom to three amazing adults. Her daughter is a dedicated medic in the National Guard, one of her sons flies high as a pilot, and her other son is proudly serving in the Army in Germany. When she is not teaching, she loves reading, being outdoors - playing a round of golf, or hiking or kayaking, and especially  being with her family.

Teaching 2nd grade has always been a joy for her, and she’s looking forward to another fantastic year filled with laughter, learning, and growth.

SamAntha Burns

SamAntha is starting her third year here at Eagle Ridge, adding to years of more than 25 teaching in Douglas County with time spent in grades Kindergarten thru 6th. With her husband (and family when they visit) she enjoys going for walks, reading, kayaking, hiking (in the cooler seasons) and spending time with family friends.

What is important to her is building, with her students, a learning place that allows for all to grow in their skills and positive relationships.
